Supporting Spiritual Communities and their members

We are surrounded by limitless possibilities but first we need to discern it.

For Spiritual Communities
The pandemic altered how New Thought Centers and Churches operate. For many the old approach to the “business” of being a church or spiritual community has not returned. And the odds are good that the evolutionary process of how these organizations show up in the world will continue to change over time.
Grounded in the spiritual principles of New Thought and other great faith traditions, New Thought Philanthropic Advisors helps Centers and Churches to chart a course to achieve greater levels of financial prosperity so that they have the resources necessary to respond to the changes in how they operate to bring these important teachings to the world.
For some that may include strategies:
-
to move beyond the basket,
-
to build stronger relationships with their members, or
-
to speak into ways someone can make their largest charitable gift without costing them a dime.
For others it may be to support their efforts to:
-
raise funds for a specific purpose, or
-
to build a Legacy Society.
For Individuals
For so many people the pandemic heightened the need to think about or update their estate and charitable plans. The challenge that many people have had is how to best craft a plan that meets their needs and is in alignment with who they are and what they want to achieve.
Often people turn to development professionals for that type of support. However, many people have between four and six causes that are important to them. They may not want to have the same conversation with multiple organizations or disclose their thoughts to a fundraiser for fear of increased solicitations. We can serve as an independent philanthropic advisor with no vested interest as to where the gifts may ultimately go.
We also are a resource for people to gain an understanding about tax-wise planning that allows them to:
-
increase the impact of their charitable giving, or
-
to solve for a large, unexpected tax liability, or
-
to work through a structure that provides a tax favored income stream to the donor, while also providing an immediate tax deduction and ultimately a significant gift to the charities that are important to them.
